Wireless Subscriber Connection Help
Windows 2000

The following sample is based on a standard Wi-Fi card in a Windows 2000 laptop.

1 Click on the "Start Menu," select "Settings," and then click "Network and Dial-up Connections." Your wireless connection should be listed there. (It may be listed as "Local Area Connection" or have some other name.) Double-click on the appropriate icon and then click "Properties" on the window that appears. A window like the one below will open:
2 Click on the "Configure" button at the top, opening the "Properties" window for the Wi-Fi card. Select the "Advanced" tab and click on either "Network Name" or "SSID" (varies with brand) and enter "jovogo" (without the quotes, case-sensitive). Click "OK" until the "Network and Dial-up Connections" window is on top. The system will normally ask you to reboot. When the computer is finished restarting, you should now be able to connect.
